Henry Cabala Photography came
to us for a site redesign of his HTML site and a new marketing
plan. The old website was difficult
to navigate and uninformative. Some site visitors got lost and
couldn't find his portfolios or information. The site also didn't
rank well on Google, Yahoo!, and other search engines.
We began by moving the links to their conventional
position on the left side of the page, keeping in line with visitor
expectations. Directly below, we added contact information so
any site visitor could contact the company immediately. We also
highlighted the full range of Henry Cabala Photography's work
by adding a title (Photography of architecture and interiors)
and subdividing the portfolios into very specific categories. Although the changes might seem small to an outsider,
the results were significant. After adding keywords and strong
meta tags to the HTML code of the site, its organic placement
(on the main part of search engines) jumped. Along with the Pay-per-Click
campaign,
Henry Cabala Photography got 70% more hits than before - which
lead to many new jobs. |
